You don’t have to live in Vermont to play your part in protecting this special greenbelt and the incredible birdlife of the Vermont Saltpan.

The Vermont Conservation Foundation (SA) helps to create a safe environment for our natural world. But we can only do this with YOUR help.

DONATE to the Vermont Conservation Foundation (SA). All our funds our used to implement our projects, including invasive alien management, dealing with illegal dumping and littering, maintaining our coastal pathways, raising awareness of our greenbelts, and much more.

 BECOME A FRIEND of vcfsa

Join our regular activities hosted by the Vermont Conservation Foundation (SA). We organise fun outings to clear invasive alien plants and to maintain our coastal pathways. We work as a team of Friends to address issues relating to litter. And we organise and install signage to raise awareness of our natural world.

There’s always an opportunity to volunteer your time or your skills to help improve this wonderful suburb.

School children can volunteer as part of their Community Outreach programmes.

If you don’t have the energy or time to assist physically you could:

  • Donate on a once-off or regular basis
  • Purchase a Celebratory tile to celebrate a loved one or pet
  • Donate the labour of your gardener, or
  • Supply tools and materials, or
  • Offer your skills and time with events, project management, social media, outings, communications etc.
  • Join opportunities to learn and network with like-minded people.
